I’m Steve and I’m a DJ, have been for over 20 years.  That being said, I’m not old!  I’ve worked for most of my DJ “career” as a club DJ in Green Bay.  I recently joined the team here at Nitelights and realized I wasted a lot of time working in bars when I should have been doing this. 

I LOVE being a mobile DJ. I love meeting new people and being able to put my talents on display for them.  I love tailoring my show to the desires of the clients and, by doing so, expanding my musical horizons. I understand the importance of customer service and believe that being a good DJ is more than playing good music. It’s more about being a good host, emcee and listener. The music is the easy part…

As a result of my time working as a “club” DJ, my areas of musical knowledge and proficiency include, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s pop, rock and dance. I can play ABBA to Zeplin, A-Ha to Warrant and Justin to Brittney.  I like old-school rap, dance and Hip-Hop, and even play the hits from the last decade all the way to current top 40.  My knowledge base is quite eclectic and spans the last 40+ years.  Recently, I have really gotten into country music as well.  Country was never a genre I was interested in but I have begun to really pick it up and is my current choice for personal listening. In any case, I could ramble on about music and genres for pages, but I won’t bore you with that right now.

Steve was incredible. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our reception. The dance floor was full all night. Nite Lights Entertainment was so responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this DJ company, especially Steve!! - Tanner B
